Who we are

This website belongs to the studio of Eduardo Augustine, a painter based in Colón, Panamá. You can reach us at art@eduardoaugustine.com.

What we collect

We collect only what you choose to send us through the forms on this site:

  • Contact and inquiry forms: your name, email address and message, and the painting you ask about, if any.
  • Exhibition RSVP: your name, email address and number of guests.
  • Newsletter: your email address.

The site does not have user accounts, does not sell anything online and does not take payments. We do not use advertising cookies.

We use Google Analytics to count visits in an anonymous, summarised way: which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors come from, and whether they arrived from a printed QR code at an exhibition. Google sets cookies for this. We do not use the information to identify you. You can block these cookies in your browser or with Google’s opt-out add-on.

How we use it

We use your details only to answer your message, confirm your attendance at an event, or send occasional news about paintings, exhibitions and films if you subscribed. We do not sell or share your details with anyone for marketing.

Where it goes

  • Form messages are sent by email to the studio inbox. They are delivered through an email service configured for this site.
  • The website is hosted by Bluehost, which stores the site and its data on its servers.
  • Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Google may receive your IP address when your browser requests them.
  • Videos from YouTube or Instagram are loaded only if you press play, and then follow the privacy rules of those services.

Cookies

The site may store a small cookie to remember your language (English or Spanish). It does not identify you. Your browser lets you block or delete cookies at any time.

How long we keep it

We keep messages for as long as needed to answer you and to keep a record of inquiries about paintings, and newsletter addresses until you ask to be removed.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to remove you from the newsletter. Write to art@eduardoaugustine.com and we will reply within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
